Hi, welcome back to Mixed Messages! Today I’m announcing some VERY exciting news – did you save the date?
That’s right – Mixed Messages Live is back for 2025, and we’ve got an incredible line-up for you.
On Tuesday 1st July, we’ll come together in the heart of London for a night that promises community, inspiring conversation and lots of laughs.
Hosted by Mixed Messages founder Isabella Silvers (that’s me,) the panel will include
TV presenter, champion of body-empowerment and bestselling author of Body Positive Power and We Don't Make Ourselves Smaller Here, Megan Jayne Crabbe…
Sunstruck author, William Rayfet Hunter…
And Ask Me How It Works author, Deepa Paul.
We'll be talking all things mixed, from how they felt about their identities growing up to the stereotypes they face today, with all authors signing copies of their books, sold by Round Table Books on the night. Attendees will also take home a Mixed Messages goody bag packed with merch, products, discounts and more.

Mixed Messages is a weekly exploration of the mixed-race experience, from me, Isabella Silvers. My mom is Punjabi (by way of East Africa) and my dad is white British, but finding my place between these two cultures hasn’t always been easy. That’s why I started Mixed Messages, where each week I’ll speak to a prominent mixed voice to delve into what it really feels like to be mixed.
