Win with Mixed Messages’ fourth anniversary giveaway
Here’s how to enter our birthday competition, plus what you’ll win
Happy birthday to us!
Well, a slightly belated birthday – we’ve been too busy celebrating my own birthday to get this giveaway ready for our Mixed Messages’ actual birthday, which is at the end of August.
This year I’ve spoken to the likes of Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock, viral bakery founder Sara Assad-Mannings, designer Nadine Merabi and presenter Vick Hope, as well as many more amazing guests.
I also launched Mixed Media, our directory of films, books, articles and more about mixedness, and Mixed Messages Extra, with giveaways, exclusive extracts, discount codes and more. That’s before we even talk about Mixed Messages Live – one of the most special nights of my life. We also launched Mixed Messages merch, which you can shop on Etsy now!
I say it a lot but I truly mean it – your support and kind words mean the absolute world to me. It makes me SO happy to meet you in person or to read your comments and messages, or even spying a Mixed Messages tote bag out in the world 👀
To say thank you, I’m back with another bumper giveaway featuring prizes from this year’s guests or Mixed Messages Extra partners. It’s a big one, so buckle up…

Mixed Messages is a weekly exploration of the mixed-race experience, from me, Isabella Silvers. My mom is Punjabi (by way of East Africa) and my dad is white British, but finding my place between these two cultures hasn’t always been easy. That’s why I started Mixed Messages, where each week I’ll speak to a prominent mixed voice to delve into what it really feels like to be mixed.
